A selection of Dall Sheep images from Denali National Park, Alaska during the summer. Including rams, ewes and lambs, a lamb jumping into the Toklat River and a B/W ram skull in Tatler Creek. Interior Alaska/Summer
The inspiration for the creation of Denali National Park came from Charles Sheldon's (naturalist & big game hunter) interest in Dall Sheep. In fact, Denali was the first National Park that was created specifically to protect wildlife, largely due to the lobbying efforts of Charles Sheldon and others.
