Followup to Mulchatna Massacre Lawsuit - Opening Statements

03.15.2025

3-15-25

Just a quick followup to my previous Blog post on the Mulchatna Massacre Lawsuit - Opening Statements against the State of Alaska for killing 180 grizzly bears from helicopters.

I learned yesterday from the Alaska Wildlife Alliance (AWA) that we won our suit against the State of Alaska.

You can find AWA’s announcement here: Justice for Mulchatna Bears

Additionally, the Alaska Beacon published a story on this topic today - See: Anchorage judge rules state’s brown-bear killings are unconstitutional

And finally, celebrating wins such as this are especially important in such chaotic times. AWA is hosting a celebratory Mulchatna Happy Hour in Anchorage at the Onsite Brewery at 3211 Denali Street on March 21st from 5:30-7pm.

Feel free to join in the fun if you are in Anchorage at that time.

More information on this celebration can be found here: Mulchatna Happy Hour

All the best.

Bill
